So much has changed in my life and it's been a loooooong time since I last wrote in this journal.

I won't even attempt to explain my disappearance from this, my forever-favorite website. Quite frankly, it's a mystery to me why I lost my way and took a long break from my beloved hobby, photography.

In a nutshell, I moved ... and I was blessed with becoming a single father when my Lauren came to live with her dad. My free time has become devoted to my beautiful daughter, and my camera has grown dusty.

All the single parents who read this will understand.

I can't say for sure if I'm 'back' because I don't know if I really am. All I know is I miss the online companionship of my fellow artists... and for the first time in half a year I felt compelled to browse many galleries tonight ... even my own ... to see if I can rekindle my passion for painting with light.

I miss you. I miss dA.
