I did an interesting shoot last evening along the banks of a pretty mountain stream ..after sunset while the light was very dim. There were many small waterfalls and the rocks were littered with freshly fallen leaves of all sorts.
As I hunched down in front of this small flow beneath the large boulders, the rushing sounds of the stream disappeared and were replaced by a quiet trickle... the sad whispers of a passing season.

shot at f8 and 13 seconds using natural light. Post-work was minor.. a slight color saturation, contrast adjustment, and crop.
