Sun breaks on my dirty windows...
warm light seen, not felt... so close yet so far.
It wants in... I want it in.
These windows won't allow it.
They're my prison now... my fragile cell,
allowing glimpses of freedom out there.
When my heart heals from this confinement
they will still be dirty...
...but I'll be on the other side...
and the light will be my lover.
