ever see a flower made of ice?

well thats not what this is really ... but it sure did capture my imagination for awhile.

I originally took the same shot two days before with a grey dull sky behind it ... but returned to this place at the right time to get the sun sinking below the rock ... as luck would have it the sky was doing some cool things ahead of a storm that day.
