A common scene on open Thunder Bay... when two ice masses collide they leave a inverted fissure of heaved ice. I've never seen one quite as winding before.
I climbed on top of a 6 foot pile of ice shards and set up a tricky tripod to get this shot ...a helicopter would've made things easier  shot in late February 2007 at dawn ... ~~~~ If you'd like, please enjoy my mini-gallery devoted to Winter on Lake Superior . |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
