The port of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada ... a major shipping connection for the breadbasket of my country.
From the prairies the trains arrive at huge grain silos on the northwestern shore of Lake Superior. From the silos, Great Lakes ships like this one, the "Ojibway", carry the important food stock through several lakes and then down the St. Lawrence river to the Atlantic. Old dock moorings jut from the water between the modern grain facilities ... remnants of simpler days gone by... ~~~~ HDRi from 3 images bracketed at +1/3 EV. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
