A vertical version of my original 'Melted Sun' photo. While I preferred the composition of the previous, I liked the flame column better in this one..
 When my forest firefighting job comes to an end in October, I end up working for the forest industry burning thousands of huge slash piles left behind by the cutting operations here in Ontario. This was an opportune moment of fiery beauty which was too rare to pass up, so I ran a quarter mile back to the truck to grab my camera. ~~~  If you'd like, please enjoy my mini-gallery devoted to fire: The Beast |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
