The last of three shots I did of this scene ..
Some of you already know that I'm a professional forest firefighter by trade .. well I also burn slash-piles (debris left over from cutting operations) for the forest industry in late fall every year. When the opportunity arose to capture a deformed setting sun through the intense heat of the flame, I couldn't resist. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
