Winters beauty is behind us now and the sculpted shores of Lake Superior have melted into her vast waters ...
This lake contains 10 percent of the world's fresh water .. and it's temperature has been rising steadily faster than anywhere else. 4.5 degrees Celsius in 40 years ... scientists say at this rate there will be no more ice on Superior in another 40 years .. very sad. ~~~~ If you'd like, please enjoy my mini-gallery devoted to Winter on Lake Superior . |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
