Winters beauty is behind us now and the sculpted shores of Lake Superior have melted into her vast waters ...

This lake contains 10 percent of the world's fresh water .. and it's temperature has been rising steadily faster than anywhere else. 4.5 degrees Celsius in 40 years ... scientists say at this rate there will be no more ice on Superior in another 40 years .. very sad.
