The second from my 'Skeleton Dreams' shipwreck shoot in March 2007. It was shot about 20 minutes after the first one but still before the sun was able to rise over the cloud horizon.
I've hiked out to this wreck 4 times now since discovering it along a remote stretch of Lake Superior shoreline 60 km from Thunder Bay. This particular shoot at sunrise was interesting because the snowdrifts in the area that day were deep and pronounced ... often hard to navigate without snowshoes and in the pre-dawn darkness.
The different perspective and horizon composition of this photo after it was rotated to the vertical ' portrait ' format has grown on me and I'd be curious to know what you think of it.
