a majestically tall pine stands like a lonely sentinel high on a plateau as a storm front rolls over the distant mountains.

I found this scene while hiking south of Revelstoke, British Columbia in July 2007.

I thought it was particularly interesting how it resembled the British Columbia Forest Service logo : [link]
