In the winter I hike the ice of Lake Superior. The rest of the year you can find me either working or playing in the forest. A great passion of mine is following mountain creeks and rivers to discover the many hidden waterfalls along their paths. The hikes are often arduous, with thick forest lining the waterway and the only trails are made by wild animals. Walking along the creek bed is usually slippery and involves a bit of rock climbing.
All of this is made worthwhile when the soft song of falling water is heard in the distance and another of nature's beauties is added to the music collection
