This is an odd place of shadowy foliage... a small courtyard between the 200-foot tall cement walls of the Nightmare, and a crumbling 20-story brick building beside it.
As I stood on an old rusty fire-escape stairs to take the photograph(s), I was overwhelmed with the creepy silent atmosphere here...
distant banging metal noises and whistling wind from far above...
pigeon 'coos' softly from lower levels.
It felt to me like some statement being made here by the juxtaposing 'decayed industry' and 'natural order' colliding.
The abandoned grain elevator is old and has been condemned for 20 years, and it seemed that 'natural order' was winning the battle...
... slowly but surely.

If you'd like, please have a gander at my mini-gallery devoted to Still Life Conceptual photography.
I've allways had a fasination with the sight of industrial, and mecanical refuse being taken over, slowly by the years of nature's strenth,... and majestic beauty. Hmm,.. rusting metal, moss on old concrete. Tis a beautiful thing nature.
Can I use it for a game, granting you credits, and an annual percentage as it turns commercial?
