Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

Happy and dog-tired

quick update before I pass out

I only got about 3 hours sleep last night (musta been too excited) and then drove 9 hours through a slushy rainstorm most of the way today to go get my daughter and bring her home with me.. lucky for me she's also tired, so I tucked her in and am about to do the same for myself. I wanted to answer my messages but did about two and went cross-eyed..

A HUGE busy day for Lauren and I tommorrow: according to her "We have to go play daddy!...Lots!"

...she's here with me now...Oh God I'm happy. g'nite..

A light journal this time.. nothing serious or political like my last one. I would like to thank all those who weighed in during that VERY heavy debate.. So cool that so many could passionately express opinions without getting out of hand.

Big news for me is my daughter and the love of my life Lauren is coming to visit me for March break! ~~..I'm driving up to Sioux Lookout (where she lives with her mom) tommorrow morning to get her and~~ I could not be happier. At 4 years old, the world is a magical place for her, and I just love the way she makes me a 'kid' every time we get together.. She loves to go hiking with her dad

I'm doing the soundtrack for another upcoming live theatre production and am currently working on sound bytes.. If any of you know of a bottomless well of sound effects hiding out there on the web, please let me know! ...I've already perused dozens of 'free' sound sites, but can use some harder to find stuff!

I was very flattered to have the offer of my very own (solo) gallery showing this summer here in Thunder Bay!.. I'm currently looking into a framing grant so I can put together 10 or so framed 16x20's and 20 8x10's for display.

The 2006 Photography Olympics is coming along just great and I want to thank the whole community for making it a success up until now.. read on for contest news...

I still have nothing to shoot for the contest... besides, I can't possibly compete with some of the people who submited photos... they are amazing. Oh well, hopefully you'll have lots more contests for me to try
