How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Am I really watching the same people who don't like cartoon characters of their prophet burning mosques to the ground?

I'm not completely religious, but the thought of throwing (in anger) the smallest pebble at a church makes me cringe in fear of sudden lightning bolts.

I'm trying to understand.. and at risk of not sounding completely nuetral in the matter, will stop at that.

My murder-mystery dinner is in three days and I'm getting pumped! I'm playing a partially insane escapee from the loony bin, posing as the chef at the event.....

The 2006 Photography Olympics is rolling along.. the initial entry flow is trickling down as expected..

We have up until the posting of this journal 35 entries representing 18 (or so) countries! ..not a bad start for the first week but with three weeks remaining we'd love to see the competition heat up with 100+ entries.. so c'mon and give it your best! All the entries can be seen on the shoutboard of the contest page.

The USA is showing strong with 10 entries.. Saudi Arabia, the UK, and Sweden are in with 3 entries each! Where's Isreal? Nigeria? Fiji? (ya you Rev) Russia? etc etc etc... get in!

I hope all the photogs out there are giving thought to representing their country when they're out with the camera
