Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Hey y'all!

Wow! .. back and participating again at dA, my favorite online community. I've missed SO much great art this past half-year and am having a ball discovering it just now! There is just loads of talent out there..truly inspiring

I'm about to hit the ol' 100,000 pageview mark.. never thought I'd see the day! .. the support for my photography has been wonderful and I thought I'd celebrate that landmark with a visit to each and every one of my watchers to check out their art and say hello.. a re-connecting of sorts. I've covered about 100 of you so far starting with my long-time watchers and friends and look forward to seeing the rest of you soon! To any of you with 1000+ watchers I'd highly recommend it.. to understand the people who view your art... to humble yourself... and most of all to express your appreciation for all the great art and artists out there.

Along the way, I've discovered some fantastic new talent here at dA and plan to be highlighting some fine artists very soon!

My daughter is now back with her mom after a great 2-week visit.. was so nice to spend my days with her.. she's growing like a weed! .. and blossoming like a beautiful flower

My girlfriend and I are repainting the inside of my house in preperation of her moving in. I'm letting her have her way with that because she's insisted I need a 'woman's touch' there. I think the only 'woman's touch' I need is... well ... hehe.. I digress.

I've done three photo shoots in the past four days and feel good about starting to take that hobby/business more seriously again .. I'll be updating my available prints soon both here (Carol) and locally in the art galleries.. and as soon as I figure out how.. I'll see about putting together my first calender!

It's become, in fact, far more challenging and rewarding then I ever would have guessed. I started with rural explorations such as old barns and abandoned farmhouse interiors and branched out into trespassing dangerous old industrial derelict buildings and shooting seedy alleyways at night in the worst parts of town...
