I've been forest firefighter for the provincial government of Ontario, Canada for 17 years now. My job takes me all over North America, providing me with some great photographic opportunities ... but my frequent backpacking, ice hiking, and mountain biking adventures around my homeland of Canada's boreal forest is where most of my shots are taken.
